Schöner, Bunter, Lauter: On August 13th 2015 IKEA opened its 50th store in Kaiserslautern. As a next milestone in local IKEA marketing communications we developed a campaign only possible in K-Town: We invited the whole city to join in and brought it an unforgettable summer at the river bank. And because there actually isn’t a real river in Kaiserslautern we just made the mostly running underground Lauter visible – by means of IKEA products.
